Imagine a Safety Helmet that Pays You Back

One of the key advantages of the Bullard CEN10 Safety Helmet is its replaceable components, which help extend the life of your safety helmet.

All the comfort components, such as the comfort pad on the top of the head, the brow pad, and the rear nape pad, can be replaced and are machine washable. It’s a good idea to have an extra set of these comfort pads available at all times to keep one in use while the other is being cleaned so you can always have a fresh set ready to go.

The chinstrap locks into three points on the shell, two in the front and one in the rear, which helps ensure the helmet stays on your head. Since chinstraps play an important role in enhancing safety, inspect the strap frequently and ensure the strap doesn’t move easily when in its desired location.

Unlike many safety helmets, the Bullard CEN10’s ratchet suspension can be easily replaced. In the event the suspension breaks, it’s as simple sliding out the old and popping in the new. This quick replacement means you can extend the life of your helmet and not have to purchase an entire new helmet if your suspension does break. All new suspensions come with a new brow pad and a rear nape pad installed as well.

The shell and foam cannot be replaced, but there’s a good reason for that – these are impact critical components and if either are damaged, or you have suspicion of damage, it’s best to replace the entire safety helmet to ensure you are always protected. In general, a safety helmet should be fully replaced every five years, but always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.
